Urunana DC/Rwanda Health Communication Center project
Started: In July 2011
Duration of the project: 3 years
Purpose of the project: Producing and airing drama series on different health sector issues in
Rwanda
Aim of the drama series: To raise awareness and educate the population on healthy behaviours
and practices that facilitate disease prevention and control thus contributing to improved health of Rwandan population.
Health issues that are addressed: HIV and AIDS, TB, Malaria, Mother and child health
and family planning among others.
