What is Urunana?
Urunana is a radio soap opera set in the fictional Rwandese village of Nyarurembo. It provides a day to day life struggle of different categories of people through a contemporary drama in a rural setting.
What is Urunana all about?
Ambridge is portrayed as a 21st century village, with all the pressures of modern rural life. You'll become involved in the characters' personal and business struggles, love affairs - happy and troubled - and village activities. And there are plenty of lighter moments too.

How can I hear it?
The 15-minute episodes are broadcast on BBC Gahuzamiryango every Tuesday at 6.45 pm and Thursday at 6.45 pm, on Sunday there is an omnibus of the programs broadcast on Tuesday and Thursday. There's an omnibus edition of all the week's episodes on Sunday morning at 7.30 am and in the evening at 5.00 pm. Urunana Programs are re broadcast on Radio Rwanda on Saturday and Sunday at 8.15 pm.
